Mer. Mer I say!

Recently, the word "Mer" has been the majority of how I respond to people now.

"Hey Mia, want to get something to eat?"

XD I don't know why I became so fond of using this word, I didn't even realize I was ding this until somebody else pointed it out o,O

On with the show!

I went to Six Flags!

Yep! Jenny had two free tickets so I didn't have to pay for mine =^  ^=!! *is so loved*

 Six Flags was a great time, Jenny was my Roller Coaster buddy so with her by my side we traveled and conquered all the roller coasters throughout the San Antonio area! We chased down people dressed up as characters and even ran into a crazy christian lady. She was very awkward, as most religious fanatics are, but we prevailed in dodging her attacks :p

And the sometime later I hung out with these awesome possums!

  This picture above was taking a few nights ago, and i'll have to say, it was a pretty fun night. We all met up around 10:30pm and set around a park, they sat on the sings talking and I found a spot above the slide on the playground to lay down and stair at the stars peacefully. The weather was so pretty, the silence was beautiful and the wind was so relaxing =) After about 40 minutes of me being missing though, Ridge came and found me, informed me that we were going to get my daily McDonalds icecream (because I hadn't had one that day haha!) and we both met back up with the group. It was pretty chill, we sang songs in the car and the icecream is addicting as always.

I went to Karma pretty late last night, only stayed an hour. Nothing too exciting was going on there, but tomorrow they have an event going on that I will make sure to document with photographs to share :)

Sleep. It's a good thing!

Recently, it has hit me that "maybe" staying up till 6am and the going to work at 9am is not a healthy thing to do >_> (no duh right?)

I say this because as of lately I have become extremely lethargic. It might have a bit to do with me not taking my required vitamins for my vitamin deficiencies, but I can also say that it is safe to say that only getting 2hrs of sleep isn't too healthy either haha.

So my down town adventures have been cut down a bit, but I have also concluded this:

I live in Texas.
I am always going to miss some event that is going on.

BUT!

I live in Austin Texas,
and there is -ALWAYS- an event going on.


Meaning:

Even though I will be missing something during the time I set aside to sleep, I also have other events going on that I can go to the very next day, or the day after. (and so on and so on)

I want ice cream

Yes, the title of this post it true. I do, indeed, want ice cream.

An ice cream cone if you will.

As of late, I have been craving McDonalds vanilla ice cream cones and this craving is a mystery of sorts, considering that I hold a strong hatred towards McDonalds. The food is highly unhealthy, the majority of their food tastes horrible in my opinion, and above all, they market their disgusting/unhealty food towards young children. I'm not trying to get all "protect the children!" on here, but young children don't really understand the difference between healthy eating and not healthy eating until later on in their lives.

So yeah, me eating -anything-from McDonald is a strange occurrence. 



As far as partying has gone, there hasn't been too many to go to, besides the weekly down town trips to karma. Those of which I will be attending both today and tomorrow ( as always ). Yesterday was the birthday of a girl I went to high school with. I didn't know her very well personally, but I got to tag along with my fellow who knew her better than I.

The party itself was alright. He all met up at a bar/pool hall and everybody got wasted. To join in the festivities I ordered an "adios" and that was pretty much all I needed to get near drunk-phase O_o I don't drink very often or very much, so alcohol hits me pretty hard.

Afterwards, when the place began to close up we went to our friends house to continue to celebration with an after party. This consisted of me bugging my boyfriend to take me to Taco Cabana and then me passing out at the afterparty when the consumption of tacos was complete.

So that was my night/morning last night.

On a different note,

I haz more Prohibition heading my way in the mail ^ - ^!!!

I really can not wait to get these in the mail, and I can't WAIT to wear these shades!!!

UV items are amazing, and they make any party super fun to be it, it helps add to the mood ^  ^

  The last couple of days have been a little rough. Monday and Tuesday I had to work 4am-12:30pm shifts X_X I can not get sleep in general, so needless to say, I haven't slept in a little over 2 days @_@

  Tomorrow, however, I am going to San Antonio with a good friend of mine and some other people to see "Underoath" play =) I feel very honored for being invited to go with them, as they are all guys and 2 girls overheard them talking about it, asked to go, and were denied. After talking to my friends about it, they said they didn't want them to go because "They are girls, they're going to get bored, and they're going to ruin the trip." It made me feel both silly and special. To most of the males who actually know and understand me, I am almost not a girl at all in their eyes XD So whoo!! Yay for me being me =P

Scatter-Brained ahhhh!!

The picture above was taken on Friday at a party thrown for Mina's birthday called "Disobey".

So yeah, I should learn to stick to my word about updating this blog more =( I apologize. A while ago my relationship with a male ended, so I had to deal with that and all the problems that go along with it. Pushing that whole mess aside I have been pushing myself to move up at my job, joined a gym, created an even crazier social life, and took up painting again.

In reality, the break up was a blessing in a terrible disguise. It has made me more productive and I have had a couple people come forward expressing their interest in me. I have recently been spending time with a guy who is very understanding and fun. We like the same things, and neither of us do drugs. ( my recent ex fell back into drugs during the end of our relationship, as afterward his personality did a COMPLETE 360 =/ )

>_> I'm ranting on that.

To sum the new guy up though!

- Successful job and pay!

( Money is not important to me, but this means that he will not have to rely on me to help him pay things, which is something i've been suckered into wayy too many times with past relationships. )

- does not do drugs!

- Enjoys going to parties with me.

- Likes Rock music.

- He actually listens when I voice concerns, and when he sees something is troubling me, he pushes me to share what it is, and then proceeds to help me work through it!

- He is fun and secure with himself, so I do not have to constantly ask if he is ok, or worry about him =)

We have not made anything official as of yet. Both him and I got a little messed up after our last recent relationships ended, and both him and I are weary and do not want to rush anything at all. Though, I told him that I was having a huge money problem, and he helped me out a small bit, and he went to the hospital with me today =) Then we went to his place and he made mac&cheese AND THEN we watched animes together ^ - ^

It's nice knowing somebody else who is responsible. It's also nice knowing that I can see him whenever I want, or if I call/text he doesn't ignore me. He treats me like i'm actually a person ;p

Update on "Mia's Life"

As of lately, I have sort of just been floating through the days. Party at "Karma" on Tuesdays and Wednesdays like always, go to 6th street on the occasional Thursday, and whatever else happens to pop up on Saturdays. I have recently join a gym called "Planet Fitness" and am trying to make it a habit of going there every so often. You know, since i'm paying $20 a month to be able to go there anyways XD I'm currently on the search for a work out partner, but those seem to be scarce now-a-days =(

"LeviSticks" aka "FlowWands"

I recently bought myself a pair of them, and I fell in love with them.

I actually fell in love with LeviSticks when a gentleman at "Karma" taught me how to use his.

But yeah, regardless.

Practicing with my LeviSticks is what I have been mainly up to since my last update. Not going to lie, I haven't found much of anything I have been up to exciting enough to yap about on here. Also, I have been lacking with documenting my downtown escapades as well. So no pictures to contribute on here =/

Story Time!

       I haven't been posting too much about what i've been doing as of lately, but luckily for me I tend to take pictures of whatever I happen to be doing through the days. SO here's what's been going on the past few days as my camera phone would tell it.

 This is me driving to meet some people, one of whom is a good friend, and one of whom I cut off all contact with completely. We all agreed to meet for lunch in order to "smooth things over. I only agreed because this "truce" would be taking place at one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. And I wanted Chinese food pretty horribly ( hah! ).

At Karma with "Mina". Her and I were so excited to see that we unknowingly semi matched in opposite colors. It was a pretty Fantastic moment. Karma on Thursdays is freaking boring. Nobody goes on thursdays, but everybody goes to 6th street on those days so a group of about 10 of us Karmanites trotted down the street and ventured around a bit. 

Went to work at 10am later that day/night/day and took the mini tophat with me! Huzzah haha

Then two days later ( Today ) This horrible nightmare was waiting for my presence. Biggest truck i've ever had to deal with for our cosmetic department. I don't mind working mass amount of stuff like this to the floor. My problems come in when they expect it to do done at impossible times. And we always only have one person come in to work the truck x,x It sucked, and I was so zoned into it o,<

That's a small over view of the last couple of days. I'll attempt to keep up with daily posts on here from now on :)

If I had interests in somebody else and wanted to pursue it, I would break the current relationship off and begin the new one. There is absolutely -no- reason to cheat on -anybody-.
 
The last time you felt honestly broken? I was a bit down and disappointed about a subject earlier today, but I wasn't broken over it.        It's been a quick minute since I've updated this place, mainly caused by the fact that I do not know what content to update it with T__T ehhhh x.x

       I haven't been going out much lately, been feeling a bit burned out on the whole going downtown 4 times a week thing. that and since I am covering a department managers shifts while she's on vacation, I usually have to wake up pain painstakingly early ( a.i. 6am ). I did manage to drag myself down to Karma last night though, and I am glad I did. Saw so many faces that I've missed and just over all had a good time.

       What I was doing at the time of those pictures being taken was learning how to use a "Flow Wand." I'm not really sure how to explain it, but you can find videos of it online. It was a lot of fun to me ^ - ^

Prohibition Clubwear

I also received a pair of "Siren blue kitty ears" from the creator of Prohibition (Sharron) as well.

I have a not-so-well hidden hobby of collecting the accessories, but they are all well worth it. Since tomorrow is my day off, I was actually thinking about posting a picture of the items I have collected from this brand so far. She can also make bra tops, corsets, thongs, ect, ect, ect and everything is very well crafted.

Disappearing Phone Cases

       Last night was pretty cool. After sharing fried pickles with Mr. Jon I took a nap and headed down to "Karma", a club located down town which is a second home to many of us in the Austin scene. Here's a mini picture story about it:

I took this picture while driving back home. Those lights are under the I-35 bridge in down town austin to light up a parking lot. In my opinion it just helps people break into cars more since they're able to see better then if it was just dark. BUT they are pretty, and more purple then this picture shows. So I approve.

      I left around 1am this night when we usually stay until 2am or later. I was not feeling very well and everybody who rode with me wanted to stay later, so I drove hom from downtown alone for the first time. I asked my friend "Xpider" to walk me to my car, and he happily accepted. While walking I discovered that I had a whole posse of escorts from Karma who safely escorted me to my mobile destination. It made me feel pretty loved =)

 

These people are "Xpider" and "Athaya", and this picture isn't from last night, but I wanted to post a picture of them. Whenever I go down to Karma I always travel with these guys. I love them both to pieces <3

 

      And that was last night! Nothing eventful happened today except going to work 10-6:30. Now I am off to bed to wake up at 5am and be at work by 6am X.X!!! *zooms off under the covers*

Oh and on the way to Karma I put my phone case on top of my car while talking to my boyfriend, thus resulting in me driving off and having it left in the parking lot. I got a text around 4am from Athaya saying they found my phone case and we had a good laugh over it. So it didn't really "disappear", but it's close enough in my opinion =P

 

"Safety Award" At Work

         My day was pretty alright. It started by waking up at 5:35am, straightening my uncontrollably wavy hair, throwing on my generic cosmetic clothing and heading out the door. I arrive at work and clocked in at around 6:10am, which makes no sense at all. I live -literally- right across the street from my job, I can throw a rock at hit the parking lot. I may have something to do with me laying down and falling asleep for another 20minutes. Maybe. >_>

       Arriving at work 10 minutes late with still 5 minutes of leeway to spare I clocked in a proceeded to the cold beverage containment facility to retrieve my ever-so-loved elixir of instant awakeness, a Monster Energy Drink. I forget the flavors, but I prefer the orange one. Any-who, once I had my drink I ventured into the mangers office to obtain my trusty box cutter designed to be used by left handed wielders, walked out and a bit further to my destination to find this waiting for my arrival:

       Yeah. So that picture above is what I spent my day breaking down and placing on the sales floor. A couple of days before today I was given a card stating that I was to attend an awards ceremony at work, so once it hit 11am I made my way to the conference room where it was to be held. When I arrive my friend Manny was walking in a head of my and I was pretty glad to see him, my friend Jon texted saying that he was on his way as well. The meeting started and Jon arrived about 10minutes late, but he didn't miss anything special. Long story short We three recieved different awards. I was given the "Safety Award", which is pretty darn funny. I tend to cut myself on something every day and i'm part of the reason we do not have a solid supply of band aids in the store, but eh, haha. Jon receieved a different award and was given $50 for never missing a day of work for a year. I can't recall what Manny got an award for. After all was said and done they brought a cake for us and everybody was happy.

This was my piece of cake, it was way to sugary for me.

After cake consumption, and having pumped myself with too much sugar to handle, we all said our goodbyes and headed our separate ways, meaning I had to go back and finish the rest of the truck. Jon and I made plans to meet up after I got off work to celebrate our awards by going to Pluckers for some fried pickles. Which we did!

So all in all, I'd say that I lived a pretty "healthy" day today =P
